Mike Vrabel traded to Chiefs
As reported by the Kansas City Star earlier today regarding Patriots Linebacker Mike Vrabel, it has been confirmed that he is now a Chief.

33 year-old Vrabel has enjoyed the glory days with New England with Pioli.  Now Vrabel will follow Pioli to KC to possibly finish out his career.

Chiefs show Huard, Surtain, and Edwards the door
Two weeks ago the Chiefs cut ties with a large group of coaches, after firing head coach Herm Edwards.  This week, GM Scott Pioli dropped the 'guillotine' on the players.

Chiefs keep Gailey; Hire 7 new assistant coaches
The best thing to happen to the Chiefs last year, offensive coordinator Chan Gailey, will remain with the team in 2009 according to the Kansas City Star.
The Chiefs also hired 7 new assistant coaches, one of which is most likely the new defensive coordinator.

Chiefs continue to clean house: 5 coaches fired
Chief's GM Scott Pioli continued to put his stamp on this organization friday night by firing five assistant coaches.

The five coaches walking the plank were Curtis Modkins (running back), Jon Embree (tight ends), Eric Price (wide receivers), and Mike Ketchum as well as kevin Patullo who were both quality control coaches.
