Tony Gonzalez might stay in KC after all
Gonzalez leaving KC for a chance at a Super Bowl run in another city might have been a bit premature.

Chiefs Announce New Defensive Coordinator
Weeks after Clancy Pendergast was hired by Scott Pioli in an undetermined role, the announcement was made.

Romeo Crennel was in the equation, and even Chiefs coach Gary Gibbs was also in the equation as the potential next defensive coordinator.  However, it was ex-Cardinals defensive coordinator Pendergast that got the job.

Chiefs' CB Macklin Arrested On DUI
David Macklin, 30, of the Chiefs was arrested early this morning in Newport News, VA.

Macklin, a Newport News native, was arrested at 3:13 A.M. according to the Daily Press.

As we all know, nothing good happens after Midnight.  You make enough money....take a cab.

Chiefs Add CB Travis Daniels
The Chiefs have released that they have agreed to terms with cornerback Travis Daniels.

Daniels, 26, played at LSU and started his rookie year with the Dolphins in 2005.  Daniels played for Cleveland last year as a backup.

Daniels will be expected to compete for the glaring hole at CB left by the release of Patrick Surtain.

Romeo Crennel next D. Coordinator in KC?
The reason the Chiefs haven't announced a defensive coordinator yet is because they are waiting on Romeo.
