Tony Gonzalez Traded To Falcons
By: SCUBA

The day I had hoped would never come has finally arrived. Tony Gonzalez is no longer a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to the
Kansas City Star, the Atlanta Falcons traded a 2nd round pick in the 2010 NFL draft for arguably the NFL's best tight end.
It's a sad day for Chiefs fans everywhere, even though we all
knew it was coming, it's still a tough-pill-to-swallow.
You just can't replace a Tony Gonzalez. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the organization must move on. Here is what Chiefs Chairman, Clark Hunt had to say about the trade:
“Over the last 12 seasons, Tony has been one of the finest players in Chiefs history, and he will always be remembered as a member of the Chiefs. His play on the field speaks for itself – he holds almost every major NFL record for tight ends, and he is arguably the best to ever play his position. We wish him the best in Atlanta.”
In my book he will go down as the greatest TE to ever play the game. Not to mention he has always been a good man off of the field. I just wish he could have ended his career with KC, but.....that's the biz.
Tony you will be missed.
