I have done my best to completely ignore this story all together until Favre actually makes a definite move. However, it has been a pretty slow sports day....so here you go.
The saga continues and this time Favre included new media into his drama, the new show "Joe Buck Live". Joe Buck had Favre do an interview on Monday night to finally address where he stood with his retirement and how the Vikings played into the situation.
Regarding playing for the Vikings: "It makes a lot of sense because the pieces are in place," Favre said.
Regarding the endless cavalcade of drama: "I know people are tired of it, really," Favre said earlier of all of the media drama over his retirement. "My intentions are not to -- although it's good for you -- create controversy."
Regarding the throwing arm surgery that is holding him back from suiting up in purple: "If it ever gets to the point where it feels like it did before it started hurting, then the biggest question mark is out of the way," Favre said.
Oh Boy! Another month of Favre un-retirement speculation....I can't wait....will he or won't he, will he or won't he, will he or won't he, will he or won't he?
OK you know what, part of this is everyone's fault, everyone who is writing about this story, and that does include me. And that is why I am taking a Favre hiatus until he signs with the Vikings or until he is elected into the Hall of Fame, whichever comes first.
