He signed, he didn't sign, his agent denies everything, the Vikings equipment manager has already ordered Favre jerseys, everyone is obsessed with this story......

The national media had completely shut down the initial report from Profootballtalk.com that the Vikings had ordered a number of purple jerseys with the Favre's name and number placed on them.  It wasn't just the media that shut down the report, but Favre's own agent Bus Cooke denied any report that the two sides have come to an agreement.

Now we have a second report from WCCO, a local Minneapolis TV station.  Mark Rosen of WCCO, has confirmed from a source that Brett Favre will be training camp in Mankato at the end of July. 

Regardless, of when Favre comes out with it officially, he will be playing with the purple come September barring any physical setbacks.
