Chiefs Add Yet Another WR
By: SCUBA

Either Scott Pioli and Todd Haley love the available receivers on the market or they hate the Chiefs receiver depth chart. My guess is that they are leaning more towards the second option.
The Chiefs' signed veteran receiver Ashley Lelie. Lelie is most recognizable as the Broncos first round pick in 2002 who never measured up to his ability.
Lelie, 29, came out of the University of Hawaii as a highly talented receiver, big, good hands, who could stretch the field. Since leaving Denver, he went on to play with the 49ers, Falcons, and Raiders. He played sparingly with the Raiders last year catching only 11 passes.
Chiefs' receive Devard Darling was hurt in camp recently, which would be more of a logical reason for the signing of Lelie. However, with the off-season signings of Bobby Engram, and Amani Toomer it seems the Chiefs are still looking for answers in the receiving core.
