NFL commissioner Roger Goodell met with Michael Vick this morning to discuss Vick's future in the NFL and when he could be reinstated into the NFL.
The
conditional reinstatement was set up for Goodell, at the very latest, had to inform Vick by week 6 of his timeline of eligibility back into the NFL.
Goodell has been getting weekly updates from head coach Andy Reid, Eagles team president Joe Banner on Vick's transition into the outside world on-the-field. Vick and the Eagles have given Commissioner Goodell enough to go on to allow Vick to suit-up beginning week 3.
Vick's first game back will most likely be Week 3 of the regular season where the Chiefs travel to Philly.
On a side note - Vick will be playing the majority of tonight's game against the Jets. Kevin Kolb will start and Vick will be at quarterback possibly in the 2nd quarter.
