Kansas City Chiefs Alex Magee Traded To The Bucs
By: SCUBA

Chiefs' General Manager and supposed dynasty recruiter Scott Pioli, has traded one of his first draft picks after only one year.
Alex Magee, DE, 3rd-round draft pick (Chiefs 2nd overall in 2009) out of Purdue has been traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an undisclosed draft pick. This according to the
Kansas City Star.
Magee has been been a disappointment from the start only recording a total of 10 tackles and 2 sacks in 17 games.
As pointed out in the
Star, the Chiefs 2009 draft as a whole has been a let down at this point. 2009 was also Scott Pioli's first draft as Chiefs GM.
If we could combine Herm Edwards scouting/drafting abilities (responsible for drafting Brandon Flowers, Tamba Hali, Jamaal Charles, etc.) with this coaching staff and the Chiefs really could be looking at the beginning of a dynasty.
