John Henderson Visiting Kansas City Chiefs Today
Two-time pro bowler, Defensive Tackle John Henderson is said to be in Kansas City today to visit with the Chiefs.

Henderson, 31, was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday after team was unable to cut-a-deal to trade him prior to the draft.  The release was made to make room for the Jaguars first round draft pick, DT Tyson Alualu.

Did Pioli Cripple The Chiefs By Drafting Tyson Jackson?

Chiefs sign 1st round DE - Tyson Jackson
After a week of training camp, Chiefs finally come to an agreement with their first round, #3 overall draft pick - Defensive End Tyson Jackson. 

The deal is reportedly for 5-years and $57 million and $31 million guaranteed, according to Profootballtalk.com.

Jackson is expected to be an immediate starter in Haley's new 3-4 defense.  Most likely he will be the bookend DE to Tamba Hali.

Chiefs ink deal with third-round pick
Nothing like waiting until the last minute to sign those rookie contracts.  The Chiefs like most NFL teams are scrambling, in the final days before camp to sign their 2009 rookie's.

Chiefs pass on Curry and take Jackson
With Aaron Curry staring the Chiefs and their war room directly in the eye, the Chiefs opt for the LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson.
