What we keep,
and what we don't.

01

What we collect

When you create an account we ask for your name, email, optional phone, age band, gender, city, and neighborhood. We also collect your music and scene preferences, optional brand affinity, and your photo opt-in choice.

When you RSVP, like, comment, hype-rate, or submit a song pick we store that interaction against your account so we can show counts and personalise the next night for you.

We do not collect contact lists, location continuously, or third-party social tokens unless you actively connect them.

02

How we use it

Your contact details power reminders, RSVP confirmations, magazine emails, and any blast Chief sends to a specific event. You can opt out of any non-transactional mail.

Your demographics and preferences are used in aggregate to help us pitch partners. We only show aggregated, non-identifying summaries ("60% age 22-30", not names).

Your engagement (likes, comments, hype) helps the platform rank what's on, recommend nights, and shape the room.

03

Who sees what

Public on the platform: your first name, last initial, member status, and your public comments / photo replies.

Visible to Chief only: your RSVP roster row, email, phone, demographics, preferences.

Visible to nobody outside Chief's House: brand affinity and photo opt-in answers.

We never sell your data. We never share your email with a partner without your explicit opt-in.

04

Photos at the nights

We sometimes post photos and short clips from the nights on the magazine, Instagram, and the podcasts cover art.

Your photo opt-in answer at signup is the master toggle. "No, please blur me" means our editors blur or crop you out of any published image. You can change this anytime in your account.

05

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

Analytics are aggregate only. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

06

Your rights

You can download every piece of data we hold on you from your account settings.

You can delete your account at any time. Aggregated stats (anonymous) remain. Personal data is removed within 30 days.
